First up to get the party started was Drew and Friends performing just after the noon hour. Those that arrived Friday night and the early risers on Saturday were able to catch the tunes of Drew, Dave Vert and those that joined in. It was great music to start the party.

Danny Cohen and Friends were next up at the 2010 party on Nimshew Ridge. Highlights include a young Loki Miller was tearing it up on guitar and the all around talent that is Cohen. Also performing was Carey Wilson on drums and Michael Howe on bass with a sweet accordion player creating a dynamic sound for the party.

Jack Straw performing music of the Grateful Dead was next up. Several long time players within this genre were on stage: Jimmy Faye on drums, Curtis Peldo playing bass, with Glenn Tucker on keyboards and Campbell Church tearing it up on guitar. I’ve seen Jack Straw more than a few times, and it’s always good music!

The dynamic trio of Fred Zeppelin capped the party with Calvin Daly on drums, Jonathan Stoyanoff on bass and Bruce MacMillan on guitar with their own take on the music of Led Zeppelin. They’ve been one of my favorite bands and it was great to hear them!
